Here at CrushGang we look at music as a way of life. Every song is not a hit. Every beat isn’t perfect. But that’s what makes us perfect. Our music represents what it is like to be human, because we too aren’t perfect. Sometimes you have to wait to make that perfect song, while other times you just spit a few random bars that barely rhyme or make any kind of sense. Regardless of how the music is made; we here at CrushGang try to find beauty and perspective in the music that we find, and the music that is shared with us. We hope that in some way our music can bring you the patience and perspective that you might be missing out on.

It all started in 2016. At the time the group consisted of 3 members; Verbal (Kay Ferris), Vortex (DJ KVHN), and Velocit-E (SlimCarrey). The group was originally named Triple V. It all changed when the 3 of them found themselves hanging out together like they did every other Friday night. The 3 were staying the night at DJ KVHN’s fathers house and they had decided to walk 30 streets to the store for food and candy, all because at the time not a single one of them could drive. So they made the walk to the local food lion, and on the way the 3 freestyled and spit bars the whole time. At the store they purchased some Doritos, sour gummy worms, and a 2 liter of Orange Crush Soda. The walk back was what made CrushGang a reality. On the walk back, Kay ferris took the two liter and poured it all over himself, and SlimCarrey just so happen to get it on film. After this moment the 3 decided to call themselves CrushGang, and thus the legend began.

Fast Forward to 2024 and CrushGang now has 7 members. SlimCarrey, Kay Ferris, DJ KVHN, Trxp9k, Da 5 Star General, CHASE QU€$O, and Mr. Clean. CrushGang is home to several personalities that don’t spit, but make their way onto the tracks. Some of those personalities include, Da 5 Star General, Sir Thomas, Mary Jane, The Lost Woman, Licket-E-Shplit, Kodak White, Jesser and more. CrushGang has a couple bands and producers that are not underneath the label, but they still collaborate together. SlimCarrey and MISSBLISS! have worked on a few tracks and a couple demos together, but they have spent countless hours together brainstorming and configuring more ideas for the music. Jalen Parker is a up and coming producer in the 910, and soon we will have some collaborations from him and the CrushGang family. Brayden Williams is another independent producer who is not technically affiliated with CrushGang; however, SlimCarrey and Brayden William go back. Far back. They have already collaborated on a couple of SlimCarrey’s earliest tracks, ‘Like To” and “Misconstrued”. A future project collaboration between SlimCarrey and Brayden Williams may not happen, but there is still a chance.
